Yes, we are able to send away for classic plates to be specially made from our supplier Jepson & Co Ltd.
From April 1st 2019, vehicles manufactured before 1st January 1980 can display a classic black and silver number plate. The 40 year tax exemption date no longer applies.
Please note, vintage number plates have a 3-8 working day lead time, excluding cast aluminium and hand painted which can take a little longer.

Additionally, If you have already purchased a set of plates elsewhere, we can also fit these for you. We usually charge between £20-£25 for this depending on your requirements. However, if you bring the plates to us and they are illegal in any way, then we will not fit them. (Sorry!)
In order for us to make you a registration plate, we require two types of documentation. A proof of identity, and proof of entitlement.
In this instance, the most straight forward documentation that we can accept is your driving licence as proof of identity, and the vehicle registration, otherwise known as the V5C as proof of entitlement.
There are some alternatives to the V5C, such as the eV948 if your number plate has been purchased from the DVLA.
For vehicles leased or on mobility scheme we require a letter of authorisation from the fleet operator, including the 11 digit document reference number.
However this document will need to be printed and shown in the shop as we can’t accept an image from your phone.

Any requests to change the letters and numbers of a registration plate will be refused.
This is because we have a duty to comply with DVLA regulations, as we do not want to face any fines or be banned from supplying plates!
Many online companies make plates, however, unless the retailer sees your documents in person they may not road legal.
As a result, you could end up receiving an on the spot fine or fail your MOT.
